Reliance was incorporated by Andrew McGill and Warren Kemp in 2002 after they recognised that most suppliers specialised in every form of recruitment - and therefore in none! Reliance is a specialist industrial recruiter. We make no apologies for our industrial focus; in fact we believe it is our strength. Instead of spreading our resources too thinly, we concentrate on our core area of expertise - industrial jobs - and we do it well; in fact, very well. Our vision is to create an exceptional experience that is designed to be totally appropriate to the industrial jobs market in both Christchurch and Auckland.

In June 2008, Reliance purchased Noble Recruitment. Noble operated out of both South and West Auckland serving industrial and commercial clients, with a particularly strong brand focus on Permanent Recruitment. Noble's specialist processes and knowledge naturally complement Reliance Recruitment's organisational strengths in the areas of temporary and temporary to permanent job recruitment.
